Hi, I’m Lindsay, an HR professional with 20 years’ experience working in HR both in the UK and New Zealand across a range of large and small businesses in the private and public sectors. I am a UK import to NZ 15 years ago after meeting my now husband whilst travelling.  After over a decade in Auckland we have called Tauranga home for the last 4.5 years and live here with our 2 sons.  Sparks HR was born from my passion to help SME’s engage and empower their people to thrive and grow, delivering both a great employee experience as well as increased bottom-line results.  My focus is on business partnering to achieve positive, effective and contextual HR solutions and support. 

I have extensive generalist experience across all aspects of employment relations as well as a passion for organisational culture, engagement and wellbeing.  I have a Post Graduate Diploma in HR and am a qualified Certified Practitioner in Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) – an awesome framework to develop thinking agility and enabling people and businesses to thrive in today’s complex and uncertain world.  I am passionate about understanding your business priorities and headaches and working with you to create practical and relevant HR solutions.  In my spare time I provide a comprehensive children’s taxi service and enjoy hanging out with my family, fitness and trying to master the art of Pilates.
